Sunday

Grave ChorltonThis is another shot from my Chorlton photo diary. We wandered round the village on Sunday, pretending it’s spring and loving the winter sun because it’s Britain and we all know this might actually count as summer this year. It’s so close to the city, yet it feels like the country. I’m beginning to lose my urban headache and feel the peace settling around me.

50 Shades of Lentil

Chorlton diary

Finally got round to exploring my new neighbourhood. Wore my ‘fur’ to the Unicorn vegetarian whole food store… got some looks. Oops. They have 50 different types of lentil… Found a trippy little 70s boutique and thought I was in San Francisco for a minute. Sundried bananas and beetroot juice for lunch! Totally hippy. Chorltonville looks more like the Cheshire stockbroker belt than Manchester…

Love: the small print

Love Harvey Nichols by Mark Wallis at The vibesLove: can be nurtured and grown naturally, or effectively extinguished by Hollywood Miracles. Chocolate is not a substitute for a healthy relationship, but can be included as part of a balancing act. Love may rise and fall according to hormone levels and financial security. Objects may appear larger in retrospect than they actually are. Your sanity may be at risk if you fail to make sensible decisions about reciprocal emotional attachments.

Sedate me and release me back into the wild

Mark and PanosIt was a costume party. There was some very poisonous vodka. And professional photographers. The rest is just a blur, really. Wear a wig, said the invitation. As an alternative to drag, I actually believed I had the ingenuity and social poise of John Lennon. Unfortunately people thought I was Ozzie Osbourne. Which would mean Panos is Sharon, only not as hairy.
