This is another shot from my Chorlton photo diary. We wandered round the village on Sunday, pretending it’s spring and loving the winter sun because it’s Britain and we all know this might actually count as summer this year. It’s so close to the city, yet it feels like the country. I’m beginning to lose my urban headache and feel the peace settling around me.
How lovely. I’m glad you’re settling in and finding the beauty in the little places.
Thanks Mrs Daffodil. I like how this one turned out, and I guess it’s all in the detail!
It’s nice to be just a little out of the city.
That’s true – part of me misses the buzz but they have trees here and sky!
It’s nice to live in a peaceful place while knowing the craziness of the city isn’t too far away. I love old gravestones like this. They bring us closer to history somehow.
Well you don’t get more peaceful than a grave stone! It was all a bit Eleanor Rigby…
