Two very quick iPhone snaps taken today as Manchester city centre was bathed in golden evening sunlight. I cropped the pictures and combined various filters in Tadaa and Photoshop.

That lighting really brings out the glow in the colours
It’s spooky, but the evening sun was just right, making everything flame yellow. Had to grab some pics even though I was on the move.
I often wish I could just take the entirety of autumn just for art and photography…
It’s a very inspiring season, and stops me getting too down about the end of summer. I’m hoping to do some more autumnal stuff soon…

Thank you! It’s interesting: does multi-tasking make us more instinctive? I always find that over-thinking can muddy a good idea…
That is so true. I must say that I can over think a shot to death until it has lost whatever made me want to stop and photograph it in the first place. Other times I could be focusing on something else in a shot and people respond favorably, crazy. Gotta just keep at it anyway.
