Chorlton Art Market – The new website
http://www.chorltonartmarket.com is a new site which I’ve designed to showcase the most colourful shop in Chorlton, Manchester. There’s a wellspring of talented artists and craftspeople in our city as you can see from the framed art, prints, cards, gifts and homeware. Chorlton Art Market also has some of the most eclectic vintage clothing in the north of England, featuring unique dresses, coats and accessories with occasional couture classics. Come and explore!
Summer Somewhere
This is a new framed print available at Chorlton Art Market in Manchester, England. A few years back I spent an idyllic, blissful summer on the allotment at the end of Cleveleys Avenue, bees buzzing, flowers blooming and baking hot sunshine. Mother Nature at her finest, just south of the city, rendered as digital art from several photographs I took as a memento for a rainy day. Swing by the Market for art and cards for Mother’s Day and Easter.
Follow me on Instagram for my latest artwork, and like my page on Facebook to be first to see the new stuff!
Miracle Goodnight
“Burning up each others’ love, burning up our lives
Tried all kinds of working out, miracle goodnight
Future full and empty knocking on my door
Ragged limbed and hungry mama
Miracle no more…
…haven’t got a death wish
I never want to say goodnight.”
Living graffiti which moves, looks like it’s sleeping and then stares at you. With this animated painting, I wanted to illustrate the immortality of David Bowie. The music stays.
