Bonjour,

“Hello,
The colors are beautiful photos with this kind of cameras. I find them more vivid and authentic than the pictures of digital cameras.
Excuse me for not having full review, but I have not mastered the language enough …”
Mark’s reply:
Thanks for your comment, but these are actually digital photographs! I applied filters to make the colours more authentic because digital photos can be flat and grey. I’m glad you like them.
Merci pour votre commentaire, mais ceux-ci sont en fait des photos numériques! J’ai appliqué des filtres pour rendre les couleurs plus authentique parce que les photos numériques peuvent être plate et grise. Je suis content que vous les aimez.
The image of John Lennon as a bronze figure is especially striking and evocative.
Hi MrsDaffodil! It’s a bronze bust at the Hard Days Night hotel in Liverpool and it’s from a series of pictures I took on my Beatles tour. A late happy Birthday to John…
The Polaroid theme gives them a great nostalgic feel. I can’t pick a favorite. I love the colors but I also love the feelings that come through in them – especially in the John Lennon one.
I feel such a fraud – none of them are actual polaroids but are fed through the Shake It app on iPhone. Still, they look authentic, which is why I like doing them. of course I’ve added my own angle, but John’s bust is particularly haunting. i’m so not happy about his death! Makes me wonder…
His death makes me wonder too, but hopefully someday his visions will come true – might as well keep dreaming anyway. 🙂 It doesn’t matter if those aren’t real polaroids – it’s nice that you added that nostalgic feel.
