Mark Wallis Design on tour!

My first ever market stall was a big success yesterday at The Post Box Cafe Market in Chorlton, Manchester. It was a shabby chic affair – more chic than shabby! There were jazz singers, kittens and sangria in the sunshine. Kate Bush Before The Dawn animation

My Kate Bush Before The Dawn poster got a mixed reaction, praised and savaged in equal measure, despite only being fan art. When it appeared as an imaginary DVD cover, the trolls rose up again and gave me a good grilling. I’m bulletproof now, which is just as well: here’s the animated version, illustrating my most vivid memories of Kate’s phenomenal stage show in 2014. Manchester’s Chorlton Art Market has gone all modern with free wi-fi and a card machine! No more rummaging for cash! Full of the most colourful arts, crafts and vintage clothing – all from local talent – and just down from Quality Save, pop in and support independent trade. I’ll be adding these prints with stone, chalk and gilt effect vintage frames this week. Hurry, because people keep buying stuff!
