Due to land in early September, the new album from electronic duo Goldfrapp sounds like the best of their astral debut Felt Mountain and the psychedelic classic Seventh Tree blended into a unique signature sound. Am a bit nervous about this one, they’re a really important band to me and the last LP (shudders) almost did for me, it was so ordinary.
I think they are playing to their strengths with this new album, if the trailer is anything to go by. Head First was a bit too mainstream for a Frapp album, so Tales of Us should be a return to form.
